The Ghana Technical and Vocational Education and Training Service has announced a nationwide recruitment exercise for both teaching and non-teaching personnel for the 2026 employment cycle.

The recruitment process officially began on Friday, May 8, 2026, following financial clearance from the Ministry of Finance and in collaboration with the Public Services Commission.

According to the Service, available vacancies have been categorised into teaching and non-teaching positions.

Under the teaching category, positions available include Senior Tutor/Facilitator and Tutor roles. Applicants seeking appointment as Senior Tutor or Facilitator are required to possess at least a Master’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Education, Social Sciences or a related field, together with a professional education qualification and a minimum of one year’s post-Bachelor’s working experience.

Candidates applying for Tutor positions must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering or a related discipline, in addition to a professional qualification in Education.

The non-teaching category covers vacancies in administration, catering, transport, security and facility support services. Available positions include Administrative Managers, Assistant Managers, Senior Assistants, Matrons, Catering Officers, Security Guards, Drivers and Cleaners.

Qualification requirements vary depending on the role, with some entry-level positions requiring BECE or WASSCE certificates, while senior appointments demand higher academic qualifications, including Master’s degrees.

The Service stated that applicants must possess the relevant academic and professional credentials and be prepared to work in any part of the country. Candidates are also expected to have completed National Service where applicable and successfully pass a competitive interview process.

Application Process

Interested applicants may obtain and submit application forms in person at the Ghana TVET Service Headquarters located at 44 Boundary Road, East Legon.

Applications can also be submitted online through the official recruitment portal: GTVETS Recruitment Portal

The closing date for applications is Friday, May 22, 2026.

The Service further cautioned the public against dealing with individuals demanding money in exchange for recruitment assistance, stressing that the recruitment process is transparent, merit-based and free from external influence.
