MTN Ghana is celebrating Customer Service Month by recognising the customers whose trust, feedback and loyalty have powered 30 years of connection and progress. Throughout the month, customers will be celebrated, rewarded and given more opportunities to shape how MTN serves them.

Under the theme, “Celebrating You: 30 Years of Progress, Powered by You,” the month-long programme brings together customers, employees and communities for engaging experiences across MTN Ghana’s physical and digital channels. It is both a celebration of the journey so far and a renewed commitment to listen, improve and deliver more meaningful customer experiences.

Customers will enjoy interactive activities at service centres, on digital platforms and across social media. Customer Fora and community outreach will create direct channels for listening and feedback; a Self-Service Webinar will help customers resolve needs more quickly and conveniently; and trivia on the MyMTN App and social media, Lucky Seat Challenges and the Wheel of Surprises will reward customers while making each interaction more engaging. Together, these activities are designed to equip customers with useful information, improve access to support and turn feedback into better experiences.

A key highlight will be “MoMo Made My Business,” a celebration of entrepreneurship and the real impact of mobile financial services. Three outstanding SME merchants will be recognised and rewarded for compelling stories of how MTN MoMo has helped their businesses grow, reach more customers and create opportunity. The winners will be announced during the month.

Commenting on the celebration, Jemima Kotei Walsh, Chief Customer Experience Officer of MTN Ghana, said: “This month is about celebrating the people who have powered our progress—our customers. For 30 years, their trust, loyalty and honest feedback have challenged us to keep improving. We are using this occasion not only to say thank you, but also to listen more closely and make every interaction simpler, more seamless and more meaningful.”

She added: “Every employee has a part to play in creating the experience our customers deserve. As we celebrate together, we are recommitting ourselves to turning customer feedback into action and ensuring that every touchpoint reflects how much we value them.”

The celebration also reinforces customer service as a shared responsibility across MTN Ghana. By bringing employees and customers closer together, the activities will provide practical insights to improve products, services and support, while giving customers more ways to engage, learn and be heard.

Customer Service Month goes beyond a calendar event: it is a celebration of shared progress and a promise to keep putting customers first. As MTN Ghana marks 30 years, it remains committed to learning from every interaction and building experiences that respond to customers’ evolving needs.
