The Accra Regional Police Command has announced comprehensive security arrangements to ensure a safe and peaceful Eid-ul-Fitr celebration across the region.

Police personnel have been strategically deployed to key locations, including mosques, Eid prayer grounds, major roads, markets, transport terminals, and other public spaces, to safeguard lives and property.

In addition, special traffic management teams will regulate vehicular movement before, during, and after prayers to ease congestion and enhance road safety. Patrol units will also maintain a strong presence in communities to deter criminal activity and respond promptly to any emergencies.

The Police Command has called on the public to remain vigilant, cooperate with officers on duty, and report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station. Motorists and pedestrians are further advised to adhere strictly to traffic rules to ensure an orderly celebration.

The Accra Regional Police Command extended warm wishes to Muslims and the general public for a joyous and peaceful Eid-ul-Fitr.
