Back Mahama to Keep NDC Credible, Says Asiedu Nketiah

NDC National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has urged party members to rally behind President John Dramani Mahama’s administration to secure its success and safeguard the party’s reputation.

He appealed to NDC members to stay loyal and back the government’s plans to fulfill its commitments to Ghanaians.

According to Mr Asiedu Nketiah, the performance of the Mahama government reflects directly on the NDC as a whole, and any setback would be seen as a failure of the entire party, not just the President.

Speaking during his “Thank You Tour” in the East Gonja Constituency on Thursday, May 14, the NDC Chairman called on supporters to remain true to the party’s principles and actively support the government’s programme.

He warned against actions that could weaken the administration’s efforts, stressing that discipline, unity, and teamwork are vital for the government’s achievements over the next three years.

“Our party members who supported the party to power, we have three years to the end of the tenure of the Mahama government. We need to support the government to succeed,” he said.

“If Mahama fails, the embarrassment will be on all of us; Mahama will not only take the fall, but all of us. We need to support the government’s agenda with all our strength for it to succeed for the betterment of the people,” he added.

Mr Asiedu Nketiah also encouraged party members to keep motivating each other to protect the NDC’s image and work together to meet the expectations of Ghanaians.
