2024 Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and the party’s leadership are set to embark on a nationwide “Thank You Tour” starting today (April 23, 2025,) at the party’s headquarters in Asylum Down, Accra.

The move comes after the party’s defeat in the 2024 general elections to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The tour, anchored on the theme “In All Things, Give Thanks to God” (1 Thessalonians 5:18), aims to express gratitude to party members and the general public for their support during the electoral process.

According to NPP’s National Organiser, Henry Nana Boakye, “The tour is anchored on the theme, ‘In All things. Give Thanks to God’ (1 Thessalonians 5:18), will culminate in national interfaith thanksgiving services that include both Christian and Islamic religions, fostering a spirit of gratitude and reflection.”

The tour will span all 16 regions of Ghana, featuring regional and constituency gatherings.

The Ashanti Region will host a three-day programme from April 29 to May 1, 2025, due to its political significance. The tour is scheduled to conclude in the Central Region on June 4, 2025.

To this end, the NPP encouraged its members and supporters to participate actively in the tour events within their respective regions and constituencies.
