Ghanaian musician Choirmaster, known privately as Eugene Baah, has shared a heartbreaking tribute following the reported death of his wife, actress Beverly Afaglo.

In an emotional Instagram post shared on Sunday, the former Praye member described the late actress as his greatest source of strength, joy and support.

“My heart is shattered beyond words over the death of my beloved wife Beverly Afaglo!!!” he wrote.

Choirmaster revealed that the actress’ passing comes only days before what would have been her birthday.

“It would have been just like four more days to your birthday but I guess the Lord wanted to celebrate with you so He called you,” he added.

The news has triggered an outpouring of grief on social media, with fans, colleagues and figures within Ghana’s entertainment industry expressing shock and sympathy.

Reflecting on their years together, Choirmaster said every moment spent with Beverly Afaglo was a blessing he would always treasure.

“You were my strength, my happiness, and the reason my life felt complete. Every moment with you was a blessing I will cherish forever,” part of the tribute read.

He also vowed to continue the dreams and plans they had built together as a family.

“I promise to take care and continue everything we planned and started. Until my last breath, you will remain in my heart forever. Sleep well my babe,” he stated.

Beverly Afaglo was widely recognised in Ghana’s film and television industry, earning admiration for her performances in several productions over the years. She and Choirmaster were often regarded as one of Ghana’s admired celebrity couples, frequently sharing moments from their family life with the public.

As of the time of reporting, no official details had been released regarding the circumstances surrounding her reported death.
