Keep Accra Clean Project Calls For Shared Sanitation Responsibility

The Chief Coordinator of the Keep Greater Accra Clean Project, Tony Addison Dodoo, has emphasised the initiative’s goal of promoting shared responsibility for sanitation among all stakeholders. Speaking on Channel One Newsroom, Dodoo noted that the project aims to engage citizens, traders, and corporate bodies in environmental clean-up efforts.

Dodoo explained that the campaign seeks to empower individuals and groups to take ownership of their environment, promoting a sense of accountability and collective action. “We’re encouraging everyone to own their space and contribute to cleaning the environment,” he said.

The ultimate goal, according to Dodoo, is to transform Accra into a modern, attractive city that showcases the region’s potential. “We want to give Accra a facelift, making it a hub for tourism and business,” he added.
