President John Dramani Mahama has marked Mother’s Day alongside Ghanaians, expressing gratitude for mothers’ sacrifices and their role in holding families together.
In a post shared on social media, the President said the day serves as another moment to recognize mothers for their affection, resilience, and impact on society.
“Today is another opportunity for us to celebrate our mothers. Thank you to you all,” he wrote.He also took the chance to give a personal shoutout to his wife, Lordina Mahama, noting her central place in their household.
“To you, Lordina, the kids and grandkids just want to thank you for being the heart and strength of our family. Happy Mother’s Day,” he added.
