President John Dramani Mahama will co-chair the High-Level segment of the global One Health Summit alongside French President, Emmanuel Macron, placing Ghana at the centre of global efforts to strengthen healthcare systems and address emerging international dangers.
The summit will assemble heads of state, health officials, and global specialists to push forward joint solutions regarding public health, sustainable agricultural systems, and illness prevention, reflecting growing urgency around health threats that cross borders. Mahama, the creator of the Accra Reset Initiative, is slated to give two major speeches during the gathering.
His first address will occur during a session on global health infrastructure, co-led by Macron and Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organisation.
That session will concentrate on changes to worldwide health systems and is anticipated to end with the approval of a political statement intended to enhance international collaboration on health matters. Mahama’s second speech will open the High-Level segment for national leaders and government heads, during which he is projected to lay out Ghana’s perspective on global health safety. His talk will emphasize the nation’s method of handling new health threats through cooperative, cross-sector approaches.
