The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has stated that all Ghanaians in Israel who needed help have been brought home.
“We’ve safely evacuated all Ghanaians who expressed the desire to be assisted by the Government of Ghana (GoG) out of Israel,” he said, thanking Israeli and Egyptian authorities for their cooperation.
A few embassy staff members remain in Tel Aviv to handle essential consular work, while the rest have returned.
Mr. Ablakwa welcomed the evacuees, saying the government prioritises citizens’ safety abroad.
“The Mahama Administration will continue with safe evacuation efforts as we prioritise the welfare of all Ghanaians,” he added.
