Founding President of UP Tradition Institute (UTI), Dr. Razak Kojo Opoku, has underscored that Ghana’s path to a bright future lies with Dr. Bryan Acheampong, who has declared his intention to contest the NPP flag-bearership race. He thus endorsed Dr. Acheampong (DBA) as the ideal leader to drive Ghana’s transformation agenda.

In his article titled: “The Three (3) Pillars of Dr. Bryan Acheampong (DBA) for Ghana’s Transformation,” Dr. Opoku indicated that Dr. Acheampong’s strategic vision is anchored on three pillars: Development in Freedom, Business-Friendly Environment, and Advance Economic Ecosystems.

“The strategic vision of Dr. Bryan Acheampong (DBA) for the transformation of Ghana is anchored on three (3) pillars, namely: D- Development in Freedom Policy’, Business-Friendly Environment, and Advanced Economic Ecosystems,” he stated.

On Development in Freedom, the Founding President of UP Tradition Institute explained that Dr. Acheampong’s prospective government would prioritise “Development in Freedom” across all sectors of the economy. This initiative, he explained, will align with key constitutional provisions that foster national growth and individual liberties.

According to him, Dr. Acheampong’s administration would be guided by Ghana’s political, economic, social, educational, and cultural objectives as outlined in the 1992 Constitution. Specifically, he said, a Dr. Acheampong-led government would focus on Article 35, which details political objectives; Article 36, which outlines economic policies; Article 37, which promotes social welfare; Article 38, which emphasizes education; and Article 39, which preserves Ghanaian culture.

He went on to add that Dr. Acheampong’s government would adhere to Article 40, guiding Ghana’s international policy, and uphold fundamental human rights and freedoms captured under Chapter Five of the Constitution. The administration would also prioritise the supremacy of the Constitution, as stated in Article 1(1), and ensure the absolute freedom and independence of the media, as outlined in Chapter Twelve, Dr. Opoku noted.

“The Business-Friendly Environment pillar seeks to promote private sector growth, Africapitalism, and public-private partnerships, with a focus on infrastructural development and inclusive growth. The Advance Economic Ecosystems pillar focuses on positioning Ghana as an economic giant in Africa through a well-diversified economy, advanced technology, and sustainable development,” Dr. Opoku said.

The third pillar of Dr. Bryan Acheampong’s government, Dr. Opoku observed, focuses on advancing Ghana’s economic ecosystems to position the country as a leading economic powerhouse in Africa. He said this objective would create a thriving economy that competes fairly on the global market. To achieve this, Dr. Opoku averred that Dr. Acheampong’s government would prioritise a well-diversified economy that addresses pressing issues such as unemployment and low quality of life. This would be driven by massive investments in advanced technology, targeting key areas including: Sustainable Digital Economic Revolution (SDER); Sustainable Food and Agricultural Products (SFAP); Sustainable Energy Supply: Ensuring a reliable and environmentally friendly energy supply; Environmental Sustainability (ES); and Sustainable Healthcare Delivery Systems across all Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDAs) in the country.
