The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) Limited announced that it will suspend power supply in parts of Tema on Sunday, March 8, 2026, for maintenance.
According to a notice, the outage will occur from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Affected areas include McKeon, Sky Quarries, Westrafo, and surrounding communities. ECG cited upgrades to improve service delivery as the reason for the interruption. The company stated that the maintenance is part of efforts to enhance power supply reliability.
ECG therefore apologised for the inconvenience and urged affected customers to make necessary arrangements.
