The Ministry of Education has postponed the release of the 2026/2027 Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) results from Monday, August 31 to Friday, September 4.

The Ministry said the delay follows requests from parents, guardians, students and school heads for more time to complete the submission and uploading of students’ data on the WAEC and CSSPS platforms.

It said about 20,000 qualified students have yet to have their school choices uploaded onto the CSSPS platform.

The extension is intended to give affected stakeholders more time to complete outstanding submissions and ensure that all eligible students are considered for placement into Senior High Schools (SHSs) and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.

The Ministry urged parents, guardians and school authorities to use the additional time to complete all outstanding processes.

The 2026/2027 CSSPS placement results are now expected to be released on Friday, September 4, 2026.
