IMPLEMENTERS has announced the 2026 edition of the Climate Forward Summit (CFS 2026), a major climate-focused gathering aimed at driving collaboration and practical solutions to Ghana’s growing environmental challenges.
The summit is scheduled to take place on July 9, 2026, at the Executive Conference Centre of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration in Accra.
This year’s event will be held under the theme: “The Circular Transition: Integrating Waste-to-Wealth Pathways and Clean Energy for Ghana’s Green Industrialisation.”
According to the organisers, the summit will bring together government officials, private-sector players, civil society groups, development organisations, climate experts, and the general public to explore practical, sustainable responses to climate change.
IMPLEMENTERS noted that Ghana continues to face mounting challenges linked to plastic, textile, and electronic waste, with serious implications for public health, the environment, and economic development.
The organisation said the summit aims to create a platform for stakeholders to move beyond fragmented efforts and work together on long-term solutions rooted in circular economy principles.
“The Climate Forward Summit is designed to encourage dialogue and build strong partnerships within Ghana’s climate space,” the statement said.
The event will feature high-level panel discussions, keynote sessions, interactive roundtables, exhibitions showcasing innovations in recycling and sustainable production, and networking opportunities to strengthen collaboration.
Organisers say the 2026 edition builds on the success of the maiden summit, which brought together stakeholders from sectors including agriculture and extractives to align efforts toward climate action.
IMPLEMENTERS is also inviting development partners, government agencies, businesses, civil society organisations, and climate-focused individuals to partner with or participate in the event.
The organisation says the summit is intended to help transform Ghana’s waste management challenge into opportunities for green growth, clean energy, and sustainable industrialisation.
Implementers work across education, climate change, and employability, partnering with institutions and communities to deliver development programmes in Ghana and across Africa.
