Businessman and philanthropist Kennedy Agyapong, popularly known as Kenpong, has stepped in to help resolve marital challenges between media personality Afua Asantewaa Owusu Aduonum and her husband, Kofi Owusu Aduonum.
Following weeks of public speculation about the state of their relationship, the couple has now reunited after mediation efforts led by Mr Agyapong, who is regarded by the family as a mentor and father figure.
The situation had drawn significant attention on social media, with conflicting accounts emerging about whether the couple had separated. While Afua Asantewaa had earlier indicated she was living apart from her husband after relocating abroad, he maintained that their marriage remained intact.
Sources say the intervention focused on reconciliation and preserving the family unit, particularly given the couple’s long-standing relationship and shared responsibilities as parents.
The pair, who married in 2017 and have three children, have previously been admired publicly for their partnership, especially during Afua Asantewaa’s widely publicised sing-a-thon attempt, which earned her international recognition and positioned her as a cultural ambassador for Ghana.
The latest development is expected to put an end to public speculation, with both parties said to be committed to resolving any future issues privately.
