Domestic airline PassionAir has announced significant disruptions to its flight operations, particularly on the Accra–Kumasi route, citing operational challenges.
In a press statement issued on Thursday, March 12, the airline said passengers on the Kumasi route are currently experiencing major disruptions, while other routes are also facing delays.
The airline apologised to affected passengers for the inconvenience caused, acknowledging the frustration the delays may have had on travellers’ plans.
“We sincerely apologize to our passengers who have been inconvenienced by these delays,” the statement said, noting that the disruptions were due to operational challenges affecting the airline’s route network.
According to the company, ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of passengers remains its top priority despite the temporary setbacks.
PassionAir said its team is working to resolve the situation and restore normal flight operations as quickly as possible.
“Our team is working diligently to resolve these issues and restore normal service as quickly as possible,” the statement added, while thanking passengers for their patience and understanding.
The airline also reaffirmed its commitment to providing safe and reliable air travel services.
Passengers who require further assistance have been advised to contact the airline through its customer support channels.
