The Ghana Police Service has initiated a manhunt following the fatal shooting of Dominic Frimpong during a highway robbery attack involving Berekum Chelsea.
The incident occurred as the team was returning from a Ghana Premier League fixture against FC Samartex 1996. Reports indicate that the team bus was ambushed on the Bibiani–Goaso road, near the Ahyiresu–KDS stretch, by armed assailants.

Authorities have assured the public that efforts are underway to apprehend the perpetrators and have indicated that those responsible will be brought to justice within the shortest possible time.
