The Public Services Commission (PSC) has rescheduled its 13th Annual Conference of Chairpersons of Governing Boards/Councils, Chief Directors and Chief Executives of the Public Services of Ghana to December.

In a press release dated October 15, 2026, and addressed to all heads of public service institutions, the Commission announced that the conference will now be held from Monday, December 14 to Thursday, December 17, 2026.

The venue has also been changed from the Western Serene Atlantic Hotel in Takoradi, Western Region, to the Eastern Premier Hotel in Koforidua, Eastern Region.

The four-day high-level conference was initially slated for October 20 to 23, 2026.According to the PSC, President John Dramani Mahama will officially open the conference on Tuesday, December 15, 2026.

“The President, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, will officially open the Conference on Tuesday, 15th December 2026, and is expected to deliver the keynote address,” the statement said.

The annual conference is the largest gathering of leadership across Ghana’s public service, bringing together chairpersons of governing boards and councils, chief directors and chief executives to deliberate on reforms, efficiency and service delivery.

The Commission did not give reasons for the change but apologized for any disruption the new schedule may cause.

“The Public Services Commission informs all invited participants and stakeholders that the 13th Annual Conference has been rescheduled,” it stated.

“All invited participants are kindly requested to take note of the revised dates and venue and make the necessary arrangements to participate,” the release added.

It further noted: “The Commission regrets any inconvenience the change may cause and appreciates the understanding and cooperation of all concerned.”

The PSC is expected to release the full programme and thematic focus for this year’s conference in the coming weeks.
