Ghana will become the center of a powerful global economic conversation this September as Kingdom Citizens in Real Estate™ (KCIRE), formerly known as Savvy Chicks in Real Estate®, hosts the highly anticipated Global Mandate Economic Summit 2026 in Accra, Ghana.

The summit is expected to attract diaspora investors, developers, entrepreneurs, hospitality leaders, policy makers, and strategic partners from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, the Caribbean, and across Africa for what organizers describe as one of the most significant diaspora investment gatherings on the continent.

Hosted under the theme:

“The Kingdom Has Been Summoned.”

The Global Mandate Economic Summit is a fully immersive 9-day investment and economic experience designed to bridge Africa and the Diaspora through real estate, business, tourism, infrastructure, and cross-border wealth creation.

The experience will include:

• International investment panels
• Luxury real estate tours
• Developer showcases
• Government and diaspora discussions
• Strategic networking experiences
• Cross-border business conversations
• Cultural immersion experiences
• A VIP African-Themed Red Carpet Gala & Awards Ceremony

Founded by award-winning International Real Estate Broker, investor, and global speaker Makeda Smith, KCIRE has become internationally recognized for helping diaspora investors identify and access global real estate opportunities throughout Africa and beyond.

Makeda Smith brings more than 22 years of real estate experience to the global stage. According to the organization’s portfolio data, her domestic United States real estate career generated an estimated $29.3 million in lifetime sales volume between 2004 and 2019, consisting of 163 tracked transactions before expanding internationally, as reported by Zillow.

Since expanding globally, KCIRE has facilitated international transactions and investment experiences throughout Ghana, Nigeria, Dubai, the Dominican Republic, Greece, Bali, Egypt, Kenya, Zanzibar, and beyond.

The organization reports:

•  international real estate transactions from 2024–2026
• More than $31 million in international sales revenue including the United States, the Dominican Republic and Nigeria
• A growing diaspora investor community spanning multiple continents
• 250+ retreat and summit alumni globally
• Investors actively exploring opportunities in Ghana, Nigeria, and the Caribbean

“What we are building is bigger than real estate,” says Makeda Smith, Founder & CEO of Kingdom Citizens in Real Estate™. “We are helping people think globally, build internationally, and create legacy beyond borders. This summit is about ownership, economic empowerment, and creating strategic pathways between Africa and the Diaspora.”

The summit’s programming is intentionally designed for serious investors, decision-makers, and entrepreneurs seeking opportunities across Ghana and the African continent.

Conference sessions will cover:
• Real Estate Investing in Ghana
• Boutique Hotel Ownership
• Airbnb & Short-Term Rental Strategies
• Diaspora Mortgages
• International Funding
• Global Property Management
• Development Partnerships
• International Tax Structures
• Business Entity Formation
• Ghana Property Law
• Cross-Border Wealth Expansion

A major highlight of the summit will be the Luxury Real Estate Investment Tour, where delegates will visit some of Ghana’s fastest-growing and most sought-after investment zones, including:
• Cantonments
• East Legon
• East Legon Hills
• Airport Residential
• Labone
• Borteyman

Investors will tour:

• Luxury villas and gated developments
• Airbnb-ready communities
• Furnished apartments
• Commercial developments
• Investment-grade land opportunities
• Mixed-use real estate projects

The summit will also feature internationally recognized entrepreneurs and investors actively building throughout Africa.

Among the featured speakers is entrepreneur and investor Ellie Diop, who has become widely known for helping entrepreneurs and investors explore wealth-building opportunities throughout Senegal and West Africa through business ownership, hospitality, and diaspora expansion initiatives.

Also featured is entrepreneur and hospitality visionary Chidi Ashley, who is currently expanding luxury tourism and hospitality initiatives connected to destinations such as Morocco and Zanzibar, representing the growing movement of diaspora entrepreneurs building infrastructure and economic ecosystems across the continent.

According to organizers, the summit’s mission extends beyond conferences and tourism. The larger goal is to create long-term economic relationships between Africa and the Diaspora through investment, ownership, collaboration, and development.

“This is about shifting the mindset from simply visiting Africa to building in Africa,” says Smith. “The next generation of global wealth will belong to those willing to think beyond borders.”

The event is expected to attract:

• Diaspora investors
• Real estate developers
• Government representatives
• Family offices
• Finance and banking professionals
• Entrepreneurs
• Hospitality brands
• Technology leaders
• Faith and community leaders
• Media organizations

Developers, sponsors, exhibitors, and strategic partners are currently being invited to participate through sponsorship and exhibition opportunities connected to the summit.
