Well-known Ghanaian actress, Beverly Afaglo Baah, has passed away. Her death was confirmed by her husband, Eugene Kwadwo Boadu Baah, widely called Choirmaster and a former member of music group Praye, in a heart-wrenching Instagram post on Sunday, May 24.
The musician voiced deep grief at losing his wife, calling her his rock, joy and biggest cheerleader.
“My heart is shattered beyond words over the death of my beloved wife, Beverly Afaglo!!!” he wrote.Choirmaster revealed Beverly died just days before she would have marked her birthday.
“It would have been just about four more days to your birthday, but I guess the Lord wanted to celebrate with you, so He called you,” he added.
The bereaved musician looked back on their time together, saying every second with her was a gift he would treasure forever.
He also vowed to carry on the dreams and work they began together, adding he believes her memory will stay with him always.
“You were my strength, my happiness, and the reason my life felt complete. I promise to take care of and continue everything we planned and started. Until my last breath, you will remain in my heart forever,” he stated. The post has since sparked a wave of tributes from fans, peers, and industry players across social media.No further details about the cause of Beverly Afaglo Baah’s death have been released yet.
