The prosecution has filed witness statements in the ongoing trial of former Director-General of the National Signals Bureau, Kwabena Adu Boahene, his wife, Angela Adjei-Boateng, their associate, Mildred Boateng, and their jointly owned company, Adantage Solutions Limited.
The accused are facing charges of stealing, causing financial loss to the state, and conspiracy. Three witness statements, sighted by Citi News, were submitted by case investigator Frank Marshall Crowell, National Signals Bureau Finance Director Edith Ruby Adumuah, and Frank Anane Dekpey, an errand boy for the accused.
The investigator’s statement alleges that the accused diverted GH¢49 million in state funds, claiming it was for a cybersecurity defense system. Edith Ruby Adumuah’s statement implicates Kwabena Adu Boahen in suspicious transactions matching the alleged misappropriated amount.
