The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ghana has issued guidance for Ghanaians planning to travel to Senegal, highlighting the latest health recommendations for entry.
According to the Ministry of African Integration, Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad in Dakar, vaccination against certain diseases—namely yellow fever, DPT, measles, and hepatitis A and B—is recommended for travellers to safeguard their health.
However, the presentation of vaccination certificates for these diseases is not mandatory for entry into Senegal.
The Ghanaian Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged all travellers to ensure they are medically prepared before departure.
The advisory aims to enhance the health and safety of citizens abroad and reinforces the Ministry’s commitment to protecting the welfare of Ghanaians travelling internationally.
