The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) has firmly rejected allegations by Assin South MP Rev. Ntim Fordjour, claiming two aircraft were smuggling illicit drugs and laundering money into Ghana. NACOC’s Deputy Director General, Alexander Twum Barimah, called the claims “a complete fallacy.”
“He [Ntim Fordjour] didn’t know what he was talking about; that was a fallacy. It is not something I want us to revisit or even entertain. The person who was saying it was just throwing dust into the air. There was no such thing,” Barimah stated.
Despite President John Dramani Mahama’s instruction to investigate, government officials, including Minister Felix Ofosu Kwakye, have consistently dismissed the allegations as baseless and without evidence. NACOC emphasized that no credible evidence supports the MP’s claims, urging the public to disregard the accusations.
