Ghanaian forward Christopher Bonsu Baah delivered an impressive performance, finding the net in Al Qadsiah’s commanding 4–0 victory over Al-Ettifaq FC in the Saudi Pro League.
The 21-year-old played a key role throughout the encounter, scoring his side’s second goal as Al Qadsiah secured a routine win at the Prince Saud bin Jalawi Stadium. He was handed his 21st league start of the season as his team returned to home action.
Nahitan Nandez opened the scoring for coach Brendan Rodgers’ side after just three minutes, before Bonsu Baah doubled the advantage four minutes later. The Ghanaian forward capitalised on space at the back post, calmly finishing from Nandez’s low cross into the box.
After the break, Julián Quiñones extended the lead with the third goal, continuing his recent scoring form, while Julian Weigl completed the emphatic victory.
The result moves Al Qadsiah closer to Al Hilal SFC, reducing the gap to just one point as they sit fourth in the league standings after 23 matches.
