The Ministry of Health will open its recruitment portal on Tuesday, October 27, for medical officers and dentists in the 36th batch who have completed their housemanship and received verification from the Medical and Dental Council.

In a notice issued on October 25, the ministry said the recruitment exercise is aimed at addressing staffing gaps in health facilities across the country.

The online portal is scheduled to open at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, with eligible applicants required to submit their applications by Thursday, October 29.

According to the ministry, the exercise is exclusively for members of the 36th batch who have completed their house jobs and obtained the required verification from the Medical and Dental Council.

“Qualified applicants are requested to formally apply on the Ministry of Health online application portal by logging on to https://mohrecruitment.com and following the instructions to select their preferred districts and agencies,” the notice stated.

Applicants are expected to complete the online application process and indicate their preferred districts and agencies for consideration during placement.

The ministry has also cautioned prospective applicants against individuals who may attempt to exploit the recruitment exercise by promising to secure placements in exchange for money.

It emphasised that the process would be transparent and urged applicants not to make payments to anyone in connection with their applications.

“Kindly be informed that the recruitment process remains transparent,” the statement said.

“The Ministry of Health advises all applicants NOT to make any payment for this process,” it added.

Eligible medical officers and dentists have been encouraged to submit their applications through the official recruitment portal within the stipulated period.
